In the energy, sector, APT undertakes large-scale power generation projects, providing the complete range of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) services for the successful delivery of turnkey projects to customers, either as a main contractor or in consortium with leading power generation equipment manufacturers.

Timely delivery of power generation projects requires a blend of well qualified Engineering,Procurement, and Construction (EPC) functions, coordinated by specialist project management resources.

The scope of Engineering ranges from the concept to the detailed design of all aspects of the plant.

The scope of procurement includes all aspects of sourcing from OEMs, various vendors for subsystems. Expediting the delivery of all equipment, bulk components and requisite services for the successful execution is the essence of procurement.

The scope of construction covers the activities like on-site Erection, Testing and Commissioning of the unit, extending up to the completion of the warranty period. Construction is managed by a dedicated site team from APT, with specialist supervisors being assigned for each discipline.

APT has executed the following projects on EPC basis:

  • 1X40 MW M/s. Arcelor Mittal at South Africa on EPC basis.
  • 2X50 MW M/s. Shree Cement Ltd completes TG Island Package.
  • 1X25 MW M/s. Ubombo Sugars (Illovo Sugars) Big bend, Swaziland on EPC basis.
  • 2X60 MW M/s. Zimbabwe power Corporation, Harare, Zim balawe. Gas Turbine Alternator on EPC basis.
  • 1X30 MW M/s Dangote Industries Limit., Senegal TG Island Package.
  • 3X10 MW Biomass power projects successfully executed in Gujarat.
  • 1X6 MW complete WHR power plant for M/s. Shaurya Project at Nepal.
  • 1X6 MW M/s. Hindustan Zinc Ltd on EPC basis, the scope includes complete Balance of Mechanical, Electrical and C&I including Civil and Structural.
